Aran - BSc (Hons) Arboriculture, M Arbor A, PTI – Senior Consultant and Managing Director – An Expert in Arboriculture & Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association
Aran has worked in the Arboricultural industry since 1999. He has worked nationwide as a climbing arborist and consultant and decided to form Dartforest Ltd. in 2012. Aran is a professional member of the Arboricultural Association and holds a range of qualifications that include Professional Tree Inspection, Quantified Tree Risk Assessment and Visual Tree Assessment.
He is also one of a handful of Veteran Tree Specialists in the UK, who is VETCERT qualified.
He completed his BSc (Hons) in Arboriculture in 2010 and was awarded a first-class Honours Degree in Arboriculture from Myerscough College in Lancashire. Aran’s passion for trees, ecology and woodland conservation have has formed the core ethos that Dartforest Ltd. has been built upon.
Aran is keen to continue moving forwards with new ways of thinking in the arboricultural and ecological industry and is currently studying a post graduate certificate in Ecology at Oxford University.
James – MSc (Env) Arbor A Tech Cert PTI Senior Consultant
James is our Senior Consultant and has a degree in Zoology and a master’s in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
He has been an Arboricultural Consultant for more than 20 years and has extensive knowledge in this field.
His arboricultural qualifications include Professional Tree Inspection and Arboricultural Association Technical Certificate. James is a great source of knowledge and experience for our young consultants at Dartforest Ltd.
In his spare time, James is a mad keen bird watcher!
